Happy Birthday to my best friend, Vanecia. There truly isn’t a woman as amazing, passionate, and giving as you. Even though life doesn’t always allow us to talk as often as we’d like, I know how busy you are being an incredible mother, community leader, sister, daughter, and friend. Every year I’m blown away by the stories shared during the @classroomcentral Color a Brighter Future philanthropy breakfast. This year may have been the best yet. Heather and Raquel shared their perspectives as Kindergarten teachers and when Jacob the fire captain in Gastonia introduced his favorite teacher (Heather) from 5th grade someone started cutting onions. It was an honor to kick the event off and welcome everyone in my last official event as Chair of the board of this amazing organization. It’s been such an awesome journey and I’m so grateful! Welcome to the berry best sisterhood. Being a SC Strawberry Queen is an experience like no other and I’m so excited to watch your reigns. @michelefmclt my goodness I love you! I am so proud of you and it was your time! You owned the stage and were sheer perfection. Thank you for being an amazing woman who is an inspiration to all. You’re the best and so deserve this! @livvmiles stunning and a true queen is poised under pressure, resilient and can handle anything thrown at her. You are all of those things and more. I couldn’t be prouder! My sister Queen @claireeliseolson showed off her skills as emcee for tonight’s pageant. My sweet girl Vivian killed it on stage and won the people’s choice award “Miss Fort Mill Sweetheart” Our reigning Teen 🍓 👑 @antonia.rayaa was crowned Miss Fort Mill I couldn’t get a pic but @hannahserena.18 was crowned Miss SeniorAnd I got to be around the best friends and former (current) 🍓 👑 s today! @brandiwiththeeye @kneal30 @bentsjanine @alissailacqua @teaverlife @daniellealennon So proud of every girl who put it all out on the stage!
