🇲🇿Mozambique🇲🇿 Weve not even been here for 6 days yet, and this country has already won me over. Mozambique is full of hundreds of spectacular prominent granite domes (most of them unclimbed of course) rising straight out of the savannah. Everything about this country has been a wonderfully wild ride, from impromptu last minute meetings with hilariously senior government officials, to swapping identities with the Movitel staff to get a SIM card (we know go by the names Biza 1 and 2). It’s very important to go through the right channels to get permissions to climb here, and in doing so we’ve accidentally become locally sponsored ambassadors for tourism by the district of nampula, not something that was on my bingo card. We’ll start finalising our goal/objective over the next few days. Our initial goal seems not to be possible, we’d been aiming for the prominent lightning bolt crack (in p6) on ‘Ilema’, but after hiking in to get a closer look it seems not to be possible with large blank walls guarding it. In truth, I woke up rather gutted about it, I was feeling completely stumped and quite out of my depth. Today was different though, as we’d been invited to a Malema district party/celebration, so we went and it proved the perfect antidote. One things for sure, Malema can dance! After plenty of incredible food and a full village dance off, I felt completely reminded why I’m here, to meet amazing people, see incredible landscapes, and get well and truly stuck in. Let’s see what happens next, in this country it could literally be anything (seriously). by @v12_outdoor

Nice client diaries starts here 💕 I realised I never posted before and after pictures of this mural in Llanberis, and have therefore convinced myself it’s better late than never. I am so grateful to work with so many gorgeous clients, and want to make some space here to appreciate them. @v12_outdoor being the first, we work together regularly on all sorts; their logo, t-shirts, the Frame and Glory competition, this mural, maybe something new right now…👀 Always fun and nice and good. - - - #clientappreciationpost #mural #northwales #llanberis #v12 #artist #muralist #revamp #illustration #illustrator #celf #celfcymru #supportlocal #climbing #signage by @v12_outdoor

Meet the V12 team - Jamie Jenkins @jamiejenkins._ "Hi, my name is Jamie, from in North Wales. I’m a competition Sport Climber and a member of both the Senior and Junior GB Climbing Team. I first tried climbing aged 7, joining the kids club at Beacon Climbing Centre and was later invited to join the North Wales Youth Climbing Academy which kick started my competition climbing career. Following a successful National Trials in February, this year has been my best yet at international competition level achieving my highest placing so far at the IFSC Boulder European Youth Cup in Italy. I made my first international Final, placing 6th, closely followed with 4th place at the boulder IFSC European Youth Cup in Portugal. At my first Senior European Cup Boulder, in Austria I was pleased to make semi-finals. There’s now a small matter of A-levels to get through whilst training hard for the start of the lead season, and then hopefully selected for the World Youth Championships in China! Thank-you, V12 Outdoor for your continued support." We can't wait to see where you go Jamie, good luck competing this weekend in Slovakia 🥳🏆 @v12_outdoor #v12team #v12outdoor by @v12_outdoor

The new Petzl Sirocco design has landed straight onto Rich's head 👷 doesn't he make a great addition to the helmet line up! This ultra-lightweight helmet for climbing and mountaineering still features the Petzl "Top and Side Protection". However they have done away with the magnetic buckle attachment, so now you can save those extra grams and not worry about magnetic rock fragments attaching themselves adding all that extra weight to your sends 😂 Sitting lower in the back, the design provides greater coverage and offers enhanced protection over the entire head." It also boasts a better field of view than the previous model (see diagram). Its superior ventilation gives you all-day comfort in a remarkably lightweight design. "The SIROCCO helmet was designed to give you an exceptional weight-to-protection ratio @ 170g." We think they have built on a design which has stood the test of time as one of the most popular light weight helmets on the market. @v12_outdoor #v12outdoor #petzl #petzlprofessional #petzl_official #l by @v12_outdoor
Unparallel Rock Guides 😎 remind you of anything from many years gone by?? 👀 "The all-new Rock Guide approach shoe from UnParallel has been constructed using a durable toe rand for added protection and friction. The upper is fully comprised of 2mm synthetic suede for comfort while the outsole is built with climbing as the main purpose. The combined RH rubber compound and hexagon/dot tread sole ensure optimal friction and long-term durability on the rock. The Rock Guide has an internal rocker for a smooth, more efficient approach to your next project." Come check them out in store 🔥 @v12_outdoor #v12outdoor #unparallel by @v12_outdoor
