Haling from Oslo, Norway 🇳🇴Twistex is a Norwegian electronic music producer whose roots trace back to the golden era of 90s rave culture and the early rise of IDM. As a childhood friend and early collaborator of Savant, he helped pioneer the foundations of the Intelligent Dance Music movement, shaping experimental electronic sounds long before the genre had a name.Growing up on a small island in southern Norway, Twistex developed a deep connection to music as a form of expression and escape. Inspired by acts like The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Ed Rush & Optical, and the early UK drum & bass scene, he began producing in the mid-2000s, forming a signature style defined by emotion, storytelling, and atmospheric power.Unlike many artists, Twistex keeps his face and real name hidden- not for mystery, but for meaning. His anonymity is a statement: the music matters more than the man. To embody this, he performs wearing a gas mask and green goggles, a metaphor for filtering out the toxicity, ego, and noise of the world so he can create with clarity, purity, and purpose.His Debut Single “Captain Phantom” on Masv Music Group’s debut “Chronicles of Seraphim & Phantoms“ Compilation, explores the themes of betrayal, resilience, and inner strength, reflecting the emotional depth that defines his sound.Now aligned with #MASV Music Group and preparing for his first U.S. tour, Twistex continues to craft immersive, transformative electronic music driven by passion, integrity, and the belief that a single track can change someone’s life. It’s been a long time coming. It takes a village of people to believe for dream to realize..With that village, I was fortunate enough to execute a once lost dream, a once lost vision, something that for nearly 3 decades, I’ve written music on & off for many years for fun, the passion for it, that love for this culture is who I am.
