The Tunisian Perfomer & Video Artist

Synda Jebali • @synda_jebali_

• Synda Jebali is a Tunisian performer and video artist with a background in film studies.

Rooted in the hip-hop scene, she trained through the transmission of various choreographers rather than through academic dance training.

A founding member of the Debo Tunisia collective, she directs music videos for Tunisian rappers (Vipa, Tigna, Black’Na, Massi), including the artistic direction and direction of Vipa’s latest video « Ken Ken Ritni Koli » from his new album One Band One Sound.

As a performer, she has worked with Nejib Ben Khalfallah, Marwen Errouine, Héla Fattoumi and Éric Lamoureux (AKZAK, 2020-2023) and Éric Minh Cuong Castaing (TARAB, Dream City, 2025). Since 2019, she has collaborated closely with choreographer Radouan Mriziga, performing in Libya and as videographer for his trilogy ATLAS / The Mountain, Magec / The Desert and Atlantis / The Sea ( Festival de Marseille, 2026). Since 2024, she has been developing Crossing, a research project on the archives and memory of contemporary dance. •
