Why Virginia Beach Fellows? ☀️🌊

🏠🌾We've chosen to have our fellows live together in intentional relationships—guys in a guys' house and girls in a girls' house—in the oceanfront area of Virginia Beach. This allows fellows' relationships to form quickly and deeply. We believe that living together helps draw out the true self—to be loved and refined in community.

✝️We operate with a community-based model, partnering with multiple churches and businesses, encouraging our fellows to plant roots in the area and invest in the kingdom of God being cultivated here in Virginia Beach. Because we're not tied to a singular church, we operate as a non-profit, fundraising each year to keep our program and this model going.

📖On Fridays, our teaching curriculum, which we aptly call "Training," blends philosophy, theology, and practice. It aims to: stretch our whole lives, not just with facts, but by exploring together questions that don't have easy answers; help us learn to embody our faith in our very real and present lives through spiritual practices and rhythms; and teach us how to attune to God's presence.

📝Our teaching director, Ross Byrd— our resident thinker, writer, and theologian— has pioneered this curriculum. You can check out his work on Substack and listen to some of his Fellows' teachings on our podcast.

Who knows? Maybe this could be your home next year ;) taken in Virginia Beach, Virginia by @vabeachfellows

There are incredible women in this community, and we want to make space + time to be together! Our hope is that this weekend will be one of refreshment, deeper connection with God and one another, beauty, rest, fun, + good food! This weekend is hosted by VB Fellows, but for the greater surrounding community of women in Virginia Beach.🌾

We can’t wait to have you there! taken in Sandbridge Beach, Virginia by @vabeachfellows
