🚨 Big News! 🚨 I’m honored to share that I’ve been appointed to the GO Virginia Region 6 Council, where I’ll help guide over $1 million annually in funding to support high-growth industries across our region.

In addition to leading the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, I also serve on the Virginia African American Advisory Board, where I advise the Governor on economic, educational, and cultural initiatives that impact communities across the Commonwealth.

This isn’t just a title — it’s a seat at the table where real change happens, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent and advocate for inclusive growth and innovation.

We ain’t NEW to this! We’ve been CONSISTENT with this! 💙💛🔥

This video is from a networking event we hosted a YEAR ago, and if there’s one thing the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce understands, it’s that relationships aren’t built overnight. They’re built by consistently showing up!

Before the introductions turn into referrals, before the handshakes turn into partnerships, and before opportunities start flowing… somebody has to create the space for people to CONNECT.

And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing! 🙌🏾

Different cities. Different businesses. Different faces. Same commitment to building a stronger statewide business ecosystem.

We don’t just talk about networking. We create opportunities for it to happen, again and again.

Because consistency builds trust, trust builds relationships, and relationships create OPPORTUNITY! 🔥

And guess what? We’re STILL creating those spaces!

From Norfolk State to Howard University! 🔥🐾

Our SECOND collaboration with On The Radar x PUMA, and another opportunity to connect students with industry professionals, career pathways, and possibilities beyond the classroom!

At VABCC, we believe collaboration is about more than putting logos together. It’s about leveraging relationships, resources, and opportunities to create meaningful experiences and lasting impact.

A huge THANK YOU to On The Radar for continuing to include the Virginia Black Chamber in these experiences and allowing us to help bridge the gap between education, industry, and opportunity.

And did we mention… EVERY participating student walked away with a FREE pair of PUMA Suede sneakers?! 👟🔥

Now THAT’S how you combine culture, collaboration, and opportunity!

Two universities. Two collaborations. And we’re just getting started! 💙💛
