#LuxuryFreak Hotel Spotlight: You don’t have to be a member to check into @estellemanor which may be one of the best things about it.

Set inside a Grade II-listed manor on an 85-acre Oxfordshire estate, this is country-house life with all the trappings of a private club: 108 rooms, four restaurants, padel courts, a 25-metre outdoor pool and enough parkland to disappear into for the weekend.

Then there’s Eynsham Baths, the extraordinary 3,000 m² Roman-inspired spa hidden in the woodland, with five pools, a vast tepidarium, thermal experiences and ten treatment rooms. Hotel guests can book into the Baths too, no membership card required.

With just 12 rooms, this intimate retreat in Marrakech occupies a private residence originally built in the 1960s by Tunisian architect Charles Boccara. Rather than transforming it into a conventional luxury hotel, owners Gert-Jan van den Bergh and Corinne van den Bergh preserved the soul of the house, creating a place that feels like stepping into the private home of an extraordinary art collector.

Every room is different. Fireplaces, handcrafted Moroccan zellige, carved cedar ceilings, vintage furnishings, contemporary North African art, poetry by Rumi, oversized art books and quiet reading corners replace the polished uniformity of traditional luxury hospitality.

The remarkable art collection was curated together with Moroccan artist and creative consultant @samysnoussi, seamlessly blending contemporary works with the home’s original Moroccan craftsmanship. The result isn’t simply beautiful interiors—it’s a residence where architecture, art and everyday life exist as one.
