터키에서 가장 많이 들었던 말.

어쩌면 그 인사도 장사를 위한 한마디였을지 모른다.
그래도 그 말 끝에는 예쁜 미소와 따뜻한 마음이 함께 따라왔다.

여행은 도시를 기억하게 만드는 게 아니라,
그 도시에서 만난 사람들을 기억하게
만드는 일인지도 모르겠다.

The phrase I heard the most in Türkiye.

Maybe it was just a greeting
meant to make a sale.
Even so, every word was followed
by a warm smile and genuine kindness.

Travel isn’t just about remembering a city.
Sometimes, it’s about remembering the people you met there.

The world doesn’t always unfold in the way we expect. When worrying news comes out, it’s easy to focus on the headlines and visible outcomes first.
But behind them are people continuing their lives, fulfilling their responsibilities, and facing each day as it comes.

Through my own experience in this industry, I’ve learned that not every moment is easy. Sometimes, even when things are beyond our control, all we can do is focus on what we can do.

We may not know what changes the future will bring, but there are still people showing up every day, doing their best, and working toward a better tomorrow.
Behind it all are individual efforts, livelihoods, and feelings that cannot always be put into words.

Having experienced this work myself, I hope the time we’ve shared and the efforts of the people involved will never be taken lightly

세상은 언제나 우리가 예상한 방향으로만 흘러가지는 않는 것 같습니다. 불안한 소식이 전해질 때면, 우리는 눈에 보이는 결과와 헤드라인에 먼저 집중하게 되기도 합니다. 하지만 그 안에는 자신의 삶을 이어가고, 맡은 일을 해내며 매일의 현실을 마주하는 사람들이 있습니다.

저 역시 이 일을 경험하며 모든 순간이 쉽지만은 않다는 것을 배웠습니다. 때로는 내가 통제할 수 없는 상황 속에서도, 내가 할 수 있는 일에 집중해야 하는 순간이 있었습니다. 앞으로 어떤 변화가 있을지는 알 수 없지만, 지금도 각자의 자리에서 최선을 다하며 더 나은 내일을 만들어가기 위해 노력하는 사람들이 있습니다.

그 안에는 각자의 노력과 생계, 그리고 쉽게 설명할 수 없는 마음들이 함께 담겨 있습니다. 저는 이 일을 경험한 사람으로서, 그동안 함께했던 시간과 사람들의 노력이 가볍게 여겨지지 않았으면 하는 마음입니다.

If I could meet anyone in the world for just one day, who would I choose?

Maybe my past self. If I could tell her everything I know now, would she actually listen to me? Would I be able to change any of the choices I made?

Or maybe I’d want to meet my future self.
Who am I living with? What am I doing with my life?
And… do I have kids? If I do, am I really happy with that life? And if I don’t, am I still happy?
I think I’d only ask her one thing.

“Are you really happy with the choice you made?”

I don’t know why, but I feel like that’s the one answer I’d want to know.

발리에서의 10일 동안 정말 많은 생각을 했다.
그중에 가장 큰 깨달음은 최근의 나는 내가 가진 것보다 가지지 못한 것들을 더 많이 바라보고 있었던 것 같다. 그런데 가만히 생각해보면 나에게도 꽤 많은 것이 있다.

나는 낯선 곳에서도 금방 나만의 재미를 찾아내고, 하고 싶은 게 생기면 일단 움직여보는 편이다. 한 가지 일에만 나를 가두지 않고 계속 새로운 가능성을 찾아보고, 실패하거나 마음이 무너진 뒤에도 결국 다시 내 자리로 돌아온다.

어쩌면 사람들이 나에게 특별하다고 말했던 건 내가 남들보다 대단해서가 아니라 내가 원하는 삶을 꽤 집요하게 찾아가는 사람이라서였을지도 모르겠다. 그래서 이제는 내가 부족한 부분을 채우는 것만 생각하기보다 이미 내가 가진 것들을 가지고 어디까지 가볼 수 있는지 생각해보려고 한다. 다음 계획의 시작점에 도달할 때까지 또 분주하게 움직여보자.

I spent 10 days in Bali with a lot on my mind.
Perhaps the biggest realization I had was that lately, I had been paying more attention to what I didn’t have than to what I already did. But when I stopped and thought about it, I realized that I actually have quite a lot.

I’m someone who can quickly find my own kind of fun even in unfamiliar places, and when there’s something I want to do, I tend to just go for it. I don’t like confining myself to just one path, and I’m always looking for new possibilities. Even when I fail or feel completely broken, somehow, I always find my way back to myself.

Maybe the reason people have always told me that there’s something special about me isn’t because I’m extraordinary compared to everyone else, but because I’m someone who keeps persistently searching for the life I truly want.

So now, rather than only thinking about the things I need to fix or improve, I want to start thinking about how far I can go with everything I already have.

Until I reach the starting point of my next plan,
let’s keep moving, a little busily, as always.

If someone asks me what the happiest moment has been since joining AirAsia, I would say without hesitation it’s every time I get to film with my beloved FUN TEAM friends.

Because of the nature of performances and shoots, we often spend long hours waiting. But in those quiet in-between moments, we grow closer, getting to know each crew member more deeply, sharing laughter, energy, and stories. That process itself is something I truly cherish.

If you weren’t our leader, I don’t think I would have felt this comfortable and confident during filming. Thank you for your patience and for always holding the team steady.

I also gained so much positive energy from our crew and the content team. It reminded me how powerful teamwork can be when everyone brings their passion and heart.

And to my company, AirAsia, thank you for giving me moments like this. It’s work, but sometimes it truly feels like a dream 🤙🙊
