During the time there were no 3D rendering softwares, I painted this piece in early 1986 for a prominent developer in Phoenix, Arizona. As the project wasn’t built yet, I literally had to imagine the eventuality of its image by calculating the reactions of all man-made materials against the natural setting as captured in a moment. This was indeed a major challenge – one that I had to overcome with patience!
This Gouache painting must be still hanging in some corporate office in Phoenix. How badly I wish I could have it back with me in my own collection. taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @vahidinc

Yes, this is a hand-painted rendering!

Back in the mid-80s, there were no 3D programs available to visualize designs. As a designer, I had to render my design projects by hand. This image is one of the four interior design assignments for an Airbus A320-200 belonging to the Sultan of Brunei. I was responsible for co-designing and, of course, creating the renderings for the design proposals to be presented to the Sultan as the client. This image depicts his private office within the aircraft.

Isn't it amazing?" by @vahidinc

Being served by a robot in the penthouse apartment on the 61st floor of an ultra-luxury tower, the guest must be captivated by the grand panoramic view of the city. Megastructures and bustling actions on streets below fuse together, creating a remarkable marriage between fixed and mobile elements. This is the vision of Riyadh in 2047, conceptualized, designed, and rendered in a gouache painting for a client who dared to imagine and fly beyond limitations. I visualized those plausible possibilities that were about to be realized in our region!

I salute those who dare to dream magnificently! taken in Riyadh - Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia by @vahidinc

Collaborating with a group of talented people turns the table in marketing. Today, I think we turned the table and changed the game!

I’m reposting this work as I believe it deserves to be seen again. It was in the year 1977 during my tenure at the famous Art Center in Pasadena, California that I did a series of anatomy sketches. Those are all framed elegantly and are kept by my wife in my main home in Bahrain. I treasure them , indeed!☝🏻🎖️❤️

Sometimes all of us find ourselves in this situation! But one must tolerate the circumstances and be confident that he must prevail. I have succeeded overcoming that dilemma five times in my lifetime. God favors those who are brave. ☝🏻❤️ taken in My World by @vahidinc

Tonight I visited an excellent exhibition. I must admit, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of what I saw. Here I was with some newly found friends whom I liked very much! They seemed to have liked me too! They were both talented and very kind.☝🏻🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵❤️ taken in My World by @vahidinc

One of those moments when everything is going better than expected! This was partly because very few mediocre souls were around - mostly the Angels! Alhamdullellah.

A couple of nights ago as I was clearing my studio, I saw this small card, which was actually the back of a dental instruction I was given earlier last week. I never let an empty clean sheet goes to waste, hence this 10 minute sketch. Just for the fun of it. This is really small - smaller than an A5! ☝🏻🎈

This time, I let them known why they should not pay much attention to the so called teachers who can only reiterate the contents from the old marketing books. I must admit, I was a little blunt with my delivery! But, they seemed to like what I said. 🎯☝🏻🎖️
