‘Never grow old, Never die!’

The epic @guymeachin_dop came and applied his trade to capture the feel of VAINhomme.

We are a bastion for rekindling forgotten youth. A place to escape the grind of the day to day.

Barbers and the video store have always been a safe haven, we wanted to merge these together. What better than a cut, a beer and catching a movie that will transport you back to a time rifling through the shelves in blockbuster (watching films defo shouldn’t have been watching at that age!!)

This isn’t just a ‘barber shop’ it’s an all inclusive ever growing love letter to horror cinema. (Good few classics aswell mind). With authentic movie memorabilia decking the walls and shelves.

VAINhomme is now here to stamp its place in the city.

It has been one whole year since this fabulous night. The night we took over the Cathedral to hold a Rodeo for our 10th birthday. We had drinks, we had cowboys, we had a spinning camera, we had Shania, Kenny and DOLLY. And we even had a Texas Hold ‘Em game 🤠 It was the party of all parties and I don’t think we will ever forget it. Thanks to all that came - clients and locals and friends and to all else involved in making it a night to remember.

More than just a barbershop, step back into the golden era of your youth, trawling through VHS at the videostore on a Friday night.

A homage to that era VAINhomme is an immersive space filled with film memorabilia, movie posters, Chester’s largest VHS collection with movies playing all day and on hell of a dose of nostalgia.

Not just somewhere to get a cut and bounce we want to create an experience, somewhere to escape the current rat race and the ever growing online world while having a tailor made quality service.
