I’ve been through seasons that could’ve made me sharp as thorns. But why would I let them change me? I’m a lover girl. I fought to keep my heart soft while learning to be more careful with who gets to hold it. I’m still healing, still growing, still finding my way, but I’m so proud of the woman I became in the dark. Every dark season brings a beautiful rose into bloom, and with each step, the moonlight guides my way. ✨🖤👑🥀

Some glow ups are deeper than what you can see. 🥹🖤 We’ve lived a whole lot of life between these two pictures—grew, struggled, healed, learned, changed and kept fucking going. So yeah, the physical transformation is crazy, but I’m even more proud of the women we became along the way. I’m so fkn proud of us. 💪🏼🖤 And we’re STILL not done. ✨

Me and my best friend Russel took on California to Texas and back ✈️

We got to the airport at 1 a.m., before it was even open (and we had no idea 😂). Everyone told me to get there three hours early because I don’t have a REAL ID or passport, but California TSA barely even looked at me or spoke to me.

On the way back, TSA pulled me aside, searched me, and asked me a million questions. They even asked if I wanted to be searched in front of everyone or taken to a room—while Russel started freaking out like they were taking his mom away 😂

And on the plane, Russel had to keep trying to get me to act my age… but what fun is that? 😂 We also had a two-hour layover in Phoenix and explored the airport.

Just me and my boy, making memories through all the travel chaos ❤️ by @val16_21_

A day late, but happy birthday to my Goddess sister Michelle 🥹🖤 Looking like she owns the damn train in the pic, as she should. The world is next, Queen 👑 Life gets crazy, but I’m so grateful I get to do it with you as my sister. I appreciate you so much, you really are the best big sister. I love you, and I hope this year brings you all the love, happiness, and good shit you deserve. 🥳🎂✨🎈🥀 by @val16_21_

The video quality is ass & I blame the sun 😂 but Russel did his assignment and was making some bad ass plays today 😤 He released that MFKN beast & I couldn't be prouder! LFG 71 🏈🐻 by @val16_21_

Happy Harvest Full Moon 🖤🌕✨ The moon knows what you did. 🤭

I’ve always loved being out here. 🖤 There’s just something about the mountains that shuts everything else the fuck up for a little while. No overthinking, no worrying about what’s next, no giving my energy to shit that doesn’t deserve it. Just me, the trail, good company, and being completely present.

Life has changed so fucking much, and so have I. I’ve lost people, lost myself a few times, rebuilt, started over, learned some hard-ass lessons, and somehow still kept my softness through all of it. And lately, I’ve realized how much I genuinely love the life I’m creating.

I don’t need everything figured out anymore. I just want to be present for it. Protect my peace, love those that love me, do shit that makes me feel completely alive, and keep becoming a version of myself that I’m so fucking proud of.

Life is actually really fucking beautiful when you stop letting the wrong shit take up all the space. 🥾⛰️🖤✨️

Summer was a fucking vibe ☀️🥹🖤 Made memories, learned some shit & lived my best life. I was intentionally present and enjoyed every fucking moment. Going into fall, life stays on DND & access stays intentional. Goodbye summer, you were so fucking good to me. 🍂✨

Great to see teacher and basketball coach Mike Murphy being honored by Sonora at the Homecoming game!

Even better seeing Olin and his teammates catching up with Coach Murphy — great memories and a great man who’s made a real difference to these young players.

Brilliant to see! ☘️👏

But in all seriousness
I have a long fucking way to go... but damn I've come a long fucking way too. 👀
And i can't sugar coat it, it was my fucking fault. A LOT of fucking life happened. I lost myself, stopped taking care of myself, made excuses and got comfortable being uncomfortable for wayyyyy too long.
There were things I couldn't control... but eventually I had to stop blaming everything that happened TO me for everything I was continuing to do TO MYSELF.
Read that shit again. 👀
I've been every fucking size. I've been smaller and thought I was HUGE. I've been the girl hitting the gym multiple times a day while mentally falling apart, and I've been the girl who stopped showing up for herself completely.
That's why I always come back to #mindset.
Your body can change and you can still hate yourself. You can look "healthy" and be anything but healthy.
I'm not trying to become an old version of me again. I love that bitch... EVERY FUCKIN VERSION 💁‍♀️ They all got me here.
The biggest difference now isn't my body...
It's that I don't hate myself anymore...
I can look in the mirror, know I have work to do and still love the fuck out of the woman looking back at me.
THAT is growth.
I'm responsible for getting myself here, and I'm responsible for getting myself where I want to be.
No victim shit. No blaming life circumstances. Just me choosing me again and again!
One thing about this bitch... she might fall apart, lose herself and have to start all the fucking way over in every way...
but she ALWAYS fucking comes back BELIEVE THAT 💁‍♀️
The journey ain't over, baby girl. I'm fucking proud of ME... but we still got shit to do. 💪🖤
