Father’s Day will always be a little bittersweet for me.

I miss my dad every single day, but today especially. There are so many moments I wish I could share with him and I hate that Skylar and London didn’t get more time with their Pops (but what I do know is that he’s beaming with pride from heaven).

At the same time, I get to watch Antoine be an incredible dad to our kids, and for that I am extremely grateful. The way he loves them, shows up for them… it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Today, I’m holding space for both. Missing my dad and all the moments I wish we still had, while feeling incredibly grateful for the amazing father Antoine is to our kids.

If I could sit with my 7-year-old self, I’d tell her this:

You are loved… deeply, fully, and without condition.
Even on the days you feel unseen. Even when you don’t understand why things feel heavy.

I’d tell her that she carries a light she doesn’t quite understand yet. A light that will comfort others, bring people together, and gently change rooms just by her presence. I’d tell her to protect that light, trust it, and never dim it to make others more comfortable.

At 41, I’m grateful for growth, grace, and all the lessons that shaped the woman I am still becoming.

Thank you to everyone who took a moment to wish me happy birthday, send a message, say a prayer, or celebrate me in any way. Your love means more than I can put into words, and I carry it with me into this next year.
