There’s a 90 year old tower in Ibadan from which they say you can see all of Ibadan.

The tower is not so tall, but for a place that was constructed over 90 years ago, it’s fascinating. You can get a view of Mokola and its environs.
It’s serene and perfect if you’re looking for a place to calm your head🌚.
It’s best you go with someone, it’ll be boring if you’re alone.

Here’s everything you need to know before going to Tarkwa bay beach from #Ibadan or anywhere else.

- Just find your way to CMS or Napex jetty and board a boat going to Tarkwa Bay.
- Get your snacks outside before coming in cause you’re allowed to bring food and drinks inside Tarkwa for FREE
- Sunset Haven is 1000 naira or so from Tarkwa Bay. The water cleaner is cleaner than Tarkwa
- Book your tent online. I used Tarkwa Bay surf club. There are other clubs with cheaper tents.
Make your research.
- Always price whatever price they call for bike riding and other activities.
Enjoy your time at the beach🤍

In your 20’s, after you finish NYSC, they’ll tell you to move back home. It’s very important that you don’t listen.
Do what you want.

When I finished serving, staying back in Ibadan was a very tough decision for me to make. I meannn, I had no job offer or anything, but l just felt like I was meant to remain in #Ibadan, so I trusted my guts and stayed behind.
Sometimes, you have to take that leap of faith in yourself.
Life is not a one-size fits all though😅. I have people who moved back and are doing exceptionally well, so do whatever works for YOU🤍

I left Ibadan just to go and write my name on Tarkwa Bay beach and watch the sun rise. Why? Because life is short, and I am now going to be maximizing my freewill.

A new restaurant just opened at Liberty Road, and they’re doing a buy two meals, get one free promo this week.
Na to buy two for breakfast and lunch, use the third one do dinner😂🤏🏾
