A friendly reminder: it doesn't have to make sense to anyone else. If it makes you happy, that's all that matters. None of us are getting out of here alive, so you might as well do what you want.

Some people will never understand the hype—and that's okay. If seven Korean men make your life brighter, that's a joy worth holding onto, not explaining.

Love hard. Laugh loudly. Dream big. Let your heart beat. Live a life worth dying for.

Unapologetically me. Unapologetically us. Unapologetically BTS.

BORAHAE.

Travel has always meant excitement to me. This time feels different. Qatar — the place where I live — and the Gulf are going through a difficult moment, and leaving now wasn’t an easy decision.

I debated it with myself for the past two weeks, since we entered this unsettling, scary state of uncertainty. Qatar is doing a formidable job of keeping us all safe at any cost, but if the current situation takes a nastier turn, I’d want to be there. Call me crazy — it must be a professional hazard of some sort — hence the hesitation.
At last, I decided to go ahead with a trip that took weeks (and lots of logistics) to plan. Cancelling it would have meant losing quite a bit of money — but also the rare chance to do it at all.

I’m finally setting off after a long ride from Doha to Riyadh to make one of my oldest dreams come true: crossing Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway, from Moscow to Vladivostok.
Still, I can’t deny that the journey will be overshadowed by the constant thought of what’s happening back in the place I’ve come to call 'home' for the last seven years.

For now, though, I’m 'carpe-ing my diem' while I still can.
Stay safe, peers.

(A personal thought)
