🇬🇧
In a warehouse of memories, everyday life and catastrophe blur together. Amid loss, longing, and community, a surreal and grotesque portrait of the human condition emerges. To mark the start of her tenure as artistic director of the Bielefeld Dance Company (BiDC), Ella Rothschild is restaging her work, originally created in 2021 for the Batsheva Dance Company.

STATEMENTS is back.
What remains when the lights go out?

In “Echoes in the Dark”, choreographer Houston Thomas explores movement, presence and the traces we leave behind. Bodies meet, separate and respond to one another, creating an ever-changing landscape of rhythm, energy and connection.

A choreography that invites us to look beyond what is immediately visible and to listen to what movement leaves behind.

STATEMENTS is back!
Three choreographic voices. Three different perspectives on movement, emotion and human connection.
At the heart of this revival is “Blind Dreams”, choreographed by Raimondo Rebeck. Entering a world shaped by darkness, movement becomes more than something we see, it becomes something we sense, feel and experience.

Every gesture becomes a subtle touch. Every encounter opens a new space for emotion and connection.
