This Sunday, @kikuroom.sd welcomes one of electronic music’s true originals.
Chilean born, Mexico City based artist Matias Aguayo @donmatiasaguayo has spent decades redefining what a live electronic performance can be. Blurring the lines between DJ, vocalist, producer, performance artist, and composer, his shows are as much about human connection as they are about dance music.
This is not a standard DJ set.
Expect live vocals, spontaneous moments, and an immersive performance where the boundary between artist and audience disappears. Aguayo’s unmistakable voice, playful energy, and fearless improvisation have made his performances legendary at festivals, clubs, and art institutions around the world. Every show is different, making this a genuinely one of a kind experience for San Diego.

As the co founder of the influential Cómeme label and the mind behind albums like Ay Ay Ay, The Visitor, and his latest release Anenoa, Aguayo has shaped the sound of leftfield electronic music for nearly two decades while championing some of Latin America’s most forward thinking artists.
music tor nearly two decades while championing some of Latin America’s most forward thinking artists.

Opening the evening, @feelitrecords returns for its Sunday residency from 6 PM to 8 PM, setting the tone with a carefully curated journey before Matias Aguayo takes over for an unforgettable live performance.

For those who appreciate adventurous dance music, live performance, and nights that refuse to follow a script, this is one you won’t want to miss.
Sunday at Kiku Room.
Live vocals. Live energy. One night only.
