She wanted dimension but still maintaining her natural curls. 🤎

With naturally curly hair, her priority was keeping things soft, natural and low-maintenance. So instead of pushing for maximum brightness, we chose a non-bleach balayage to create subtle dimension with a lower-lightening approach.

A year later, we chose a different approach. 🤎

Her previous bleach balayage was done with us to help blend her greys. This time, she wanted to give her hair a break from bleach.

So we switched to non-bleach balayage.

The key? Non-bleach doesn’t mean the same brightness as bleach. The result depends on your starting base, previous colour history & hair condition.

For her, we worked with both newly grown hair & remaining existing lightness to create a softer, richer blend, no new bleach needed. ✨

Sometimes, you don’t need to go lighter.
You just need the right balance.
