People say the funeral gives you closure like you can finally “move on”. For me it was the end of a silent “will she wake up today?” prayer. The pain hasn’t stopped in the 445 days since she left me in this cold world😩.

We were weathering the pain of losing my dad together & now I carry both weights daily while the world keeps spinning 💔

The only people who have known me my whole life are no longer here. A big part of my history is gone. I love and miss you both more than words can describe 😭. As long as I’m here, I won’t stop talking about you both ❤️

21 again! 🥳💃🏽✨

Another year, and another reminder of just how good God has been to me 🙏🏽❤️ There are some things I might not understand right now but I’m grateful for life, for growth, for answered prayers, for the ones still loading, and especially for the beautiful people who love me loudly and softly. 🥹❤️

Grateful that somehow, through every high and low, I’m still here…still smiling, still loving, still dreaming, still choosing joy.

I’m walking into this new year with a grateful heart, big dreams, plenty laughter and, as always, a commitment to my duties as the Enjoyment Minister. 😂🥂

I’m excited for all God has in store.

People really underestimate female friendships, but I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done without you these past few years. It feels like God made sure that we crossed paths. Talk about an intentional God 🥰

Thank you for listening to me rant about the same things 865 times without complaining 😩. Since I lost my mum, you’ve never made feel like my grief was too much or something I had to quickly get over. And even on the days when I hold back, you remind me that you’re there. You let me talk about my late parents freely which has actually become something I truly enjoy.

And on days when self-doubt starts whispering nonsense in my ear, you always remind me that I’m enough. Soft heart, sharp brain, safe space… God really took His time with you.

Meanwhile, outside of carrying me emotionally 😭, you’re also such an intelligent babe and watching you grow has been so beautiful because I’m confident that this is honestly only the beginning for you. My IELTS tutor 🙌🏾 Bible scholar 🙌🏾
