I started working at NBC6 exactly one year ago, so I thought it’d be the perfect opportunity to reintroduce myself…

Walking into breaking news, you never really know what you’re walking into.

You could be meeting someone on the worst day of their life, witnessing something incredibly traumatic, or covering something that has shaken an entire community. And all of that comes with tight deadlines and a lot to process in a very short amount of time.

Everyone handles those moments differently, but for me… a good laugh and a snack go a LONG way

Sometimes it’s the little things that help you reset, clear your head, and walk into a difficult situation with an open mind.
