Because I regret the amount of repression I forced upon myself, to fit, to be the golden child of a perfect picture family, the world isn’t made for disruptive forces like me,

So I sing songs of sadness and regret, so I can heal all this struggle and all this pain and all this fear,

Because it took me twenty years to have the courage to say it loud and proud, despite the terror that inflicts my body and my head,

I sing songs of sadness and regret because not everyone is willing to listen, but I don’t want to hide anymore, I don’t want to stay in the closet,
