I think it’s beautiful how time can move but friendship can stay, even if years are between them from seeing one another or being continents apart.
A few days ago I was talking with a dear friend (we haven’t seen each other in three years) and we realised how we have grown in our relationship even though it is through Face Time. Our conversations are now different and some are still about some things we used to talk back then when we lived together. But what has maintained through the phone is our care for one another, even though we now have different stuff happening in our own life, it hasn’t parted us… nor has it made us less interested in hearing the stories or seeing the pictures. We tell and hear more “serious” topics… we are growing together, through the phone. A big ocean between us two, she between canals and I between mountains. An interesting thing is that, what we share apart from our love when we call, is a window! There’s always a window beside or in front of both of us.
I found this picture today and it made me think of that. We have some many windows, some partly opened, others completely, some are shut and others covered. We show what we feel through some of them and in others we just stand still. If one is closed, it doesn’t mean it’s broken. We have windows, all different, all beautiful and all ready to let the light in. I say this, for these windows have made me think of the relations and moments in my life, maybe they can make you think of yours. I hope to keep growing and loving through life with many windows. by @valzusa
