And can you believe this is free to visit? 🤯 This is only one of the wonderful halls of Hallaç Monastery, an incredible 11th-century Byzantine complex in #Cappadocia, #Türkiye.

While entrance is free and you can discover it at your own pace (just one of the things we loved about Türkiye), make sure to explore it responsibly and help protect this incredible monument.

Around every corner we stopped in amazement. This cave surpassed anything we had ever seen before in terms of size and grandeur.

If you're looking to visit Asthma Cave, here are a few tips:
✅️ It’s included on the same ticket as two other sinkholes/caves: Heaven & Hell. But do visit this one first as you will be too tired if you leave it for last.

✅️ The temperature inside the cave stays constant at around 15°C, but the humidity is very high, around 95%, so make sure to dress accordingly

✅️ Once inside, the cave is very easy to explore, but to get there you need to go down a 78-step narrow iron spiral staircase, so access might not be suitable for everyone.

#Selime cathedral is a bit off the beaten track - about 1 hour away from the main attractions in #Cappadocia - so we didn't get around to see it during our first visit.

And what a mistake that was! After seeing it now, we can definitely say this is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Cappadocia (and an absolutely must see in our book)!
