INTERIOR Inside House 81, the atmosphere becomes warmer and more intimate. Mid-century influences, natural materials and softer forms create a sense of continuity between the architecture and the interior. Warm timber and bronze glass blocks were carefully selected for both the interior and exterior, creating a cohesive material palette and a warm, atmospheric feel. The curved windows follow the same geometry as the extension’s floor plan, further connecting the interior and exterior. Stay tuned💛 by @van_bennekom
MALIN for INVADOS book! Out now ⚡️⚡️ Photographed at Ricardo Bofill’s first single-family house in Ibiza, built in 1960. A dreamlike plaster house where architecture becomes sculpture. I love the local, organic style of this house, with its thick curved walls, small windows and simple interiors. It feels like a sculpture made from the landscape. When I visited this house in 2022, Ricardo Bofill passed away just a few days later. The house had always fascinated me, and I knew I wanted to shoot here one day. Being able to return with Malin and photograph it for my new book INVADOS felt very special✨ by @van_bennekom
