Check out the Iron Mountain Lookout Trail near Whonnock, British Columbia! This popular loop trail is great for hiking and mountain biking, offering solitude during quieter times. Open year-round, it welcomes dogs, with some areas allowing them off-leash. Maintained by trail bikers, it’s a perfect short outing with rewarding views. While some sections can be steep and muddy, it’s manageable for most. Plus, parking is free! Bring poles if needed, and don’t forget to clean up after your pets.
