Life is too short to not love. Keeping family and friends close is my happiness. 🩷

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hi all of my family and friends near and far. Meet sweet Ava Elizabeth. Her ninth birthday is tomorrow and we love her so much.

Also, Ava Elizabeth is here due to a heartbreaking choice (aka abortion) we made in October 2012 due to genetic issues with our second baby, Elizabeth.

Lawmakers can require dates and other ramifications to limit a woman’s choice but it makes me just relive having issues with my pregnancy.

For every person who needs to be supported for any reason, you are not alone. There is a much larger group of women and men who want to support each other.

Just know not every ‘abortion’ is due to a lack of birth control. Many of the later terminations (post 12-15 weeks) are due to the same reasons why our heartbreaking choice was made.

I am so okay with everyone’s own choices but please understand it’s not so easy for those who either carry to term or choose to terminate/abort/etc. I absolutely know it was the hardest decision I have ever experienced in my life. Evan comforted me back in 2013 and noted that Ava would have never been in our lives without Elizabeth.

I hope people who think abortion is a choice, imagine making my choice. At least, Ava can spread the love and joy and always will, remind me of Elizabeth.

Ava has loved learning so many different styles of dance at the Palmetto Conservatory of Dance since she was seven years old. She has been a part of ballet, contemporary, Brazilian Funk, and tap classes which I think, as a mom, has helped her to begin to learn all areas of dance.

Tonight’s showcase highlighted all of students at the school and it was an amazing event. So proud of everyone who put so much work into performance tonight, especially the teachers who work so hard. 🩷

Ava was amazing in her first musical performance. Annie Jr. exceeded my expectations and many others. The Dent Middle School teachers and students put on such a great show.

Ava was crying at the close of the final performance because she loves to perform and loved being part of Annie Jr. All of the amazing teachers and students spent endless hours working on making this show so amazing. ❤️

Polo Road is still blocked from Sand Spur Road (with no outlet) and Running Fox Road at 2:30 pm due to two separate vehicle accidents before 9:00 am this morning. City of Columbia Water Department workers have large machinery in the road while fixing the fire hydrant line. I don’t think it will reopen in the next hour or two at the minimum.

Dominion had the power pole replaced in less than three hours. by @vaness.p.s

Ava is thrilled to participate in this outstanding event. We would be delighted if our family and friends could join us. Please do not hesitate to call, text, or message me if you have any questions. ❤️

We enjoyed @virginatlantic on our flights to and from the UK, especially their unusual safety videos prior to take off. This video is before our flight home. The flight to England had the most surreal video that Ava said was like visiting Meow Wolf on a plane. 🤣
