Engineering career news!!!
Today was my last day at the place that officially made me an engineer 4 years ago. I’m grateful for the time I’ve spent here as it helped shaped me into the engineer and professional I am today. My decision to make this career change now was influenced by wanting to continue to build my experience / reconnect with my electrical engineering side and getting closer to family. With that said, I will soon start a new role as an Engineering Project Coordinator and begin my journey back to California.
I’ve gone back and forth about whether making another big jump was the right move right now since I’ve built a life independently away from home, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to let that go. However, when things align and opportunities arise, you have to take your chances.
To everyone I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, encountering, befriending, loving, and sharing memories with, you have made this chapter of my life so special and memorable. You’ve made an impact in my life (big or small) and you’re why this decision was initially so hard 🤣, but know that I’m just a text, call, or flight away!

Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about my career, my interests, my passions, my health, and myself, and I feel very fortunate to have made a life worth missing. I will take all of this with me on my new journey, and I’m glad I took this leap into a completely new environment 4 years ago. I always knew I’d make my way back west but never had specific timing in mind. Life works in crazy ways though, and will guide you where you need to be (at least that’s what I’ve experienced these past few weeks).
Nervous and excited about it all but here’s to new beginnings!! ✨

Posting some of my dance work, so here are 2 pieces I got to put on stage this year. 2 different vibes but both choreographed / staged by me

1. First solo I’ve actually ever performed lol. It was fun exploring different textures and levels with this one, especially bc I wanted it to be more dynamic with 1 performer
2. This was a style I don’t normally choreograph, but it was suuuper fun to get out of my comfort zone and also having the numbers to play with staging and levels. Also, they killed that 🙂‍↕️

In honor of me taking a pause on pottery, I’d like to share some (20 photos due to ig limits) of the pieces I made throughout my journey. Pottery was the most chaotic yet calming hobby I’ve decided to take on. It’s been so much fun, but I unforch have just become too busy to constantly continue.
