Imperfect but all the feels✨️

Someone once said, “You’re too focused on the steps that you forgot to dance,” and it stuck with me because that’s so me.

This season, my goal isn’t to look perfect or stress myself out in class trying to memorize every step. It’s just about feeling it, putting all my emotions into it, and actually enjoying the class cause that's what dance is all about right?🤍

Here’s to the last workshop of 2025💗
A year ago, workshops felt overwhelming. I struggled with memorizing choreos and didn’t have the guts to shoot them. Today, it feels lighter🫧

I made this film because it happened to me.

In December, during my probation period, I got a call: the office was closing. One month and I was out.

I stayed quiet. Because not everyone understands what it feels like not to afford a single day without work. Responsibilities don’t disappear just because a company is struggling. Hiring freezes exist for a reason. Behind every offer is a life that reorganizes itself around that decision.

This story is about that moment when life pulls the ground from under you and you have to trust the fall is taking you somewhere new.

I believe in redirection. I felt strength in it.
But impact is real. And stories like this matter.

To anyone going through this, I see you. I feel you.

Sometimes the fall isn’t the end.
The way down is the way out.

It’s been a year
Since I walked into that first class with zero rhythm, shaky hands, and way too many doubts.
There were moments I felt lost.
Moments filled with stress, self-doubt, and even panic.
But also... moments that lit me up.
Joy. Movement. Tiny wins that kept me going.

Because the truth is: Progress didn’t always look pretty.
But I showed up anyway.
And slowly, dance became a place where I stopped overthinking and just let myself move.

I'm grateful for this journey.
A thank you from the heart to @groundfourteen_ and every teacher who believed in me @joyysaad @joelledemi @cedriqueas @karenabinader

And to anyone waiting for the “perfect time”
Start scared. Start unsure. Start anyway.

2025, you've been great💗

Not always easy, with its ups and downs, but full of growth, firsts, and meaningful moments. This year pushed me out of my comfort zone, gave life to The V Vibe, and taught me gratitude and trust in the journey.
