Underoath / November 2024

Thank you so much to @audiotree & @austinisaac for getting me this opportunity. 😭🙏 I’ve been a humongous Underoath fan since my preteens, and it was a dream come true to be able to photograph them in their element. I will undoubtedly…. *dramatic inhale* … never forget this show!

First look at Iceland 2026 + a couple photos from my last full trip in 2017, just cuz. 😛

Iceland has changed *so* much in ten years. It’s busier, more developed, more found. The last time I was here I drove the whole ring road with my then-partner, sleeping in a different place every other night. I decidedly skipped the Golden Circle and the Westfjords, which I was lucky to hit this time around. A decade ago, I was navigating coordinates from early internet travel blogs I’d spent weeks piecing together. Most of my destination spots didn’t even exist on Google Maps yet.

… But I get it. It’s hard not to fall in love with the country.
I find a strange kind of peace in its most desolate corners though; a quiet I don’t get anywhere else. And I truly couldn’t care less about Reykjavik, lol.

It’s also an impossibly expensive country to visit, and I know how privileged I am to get to come back!

Death Valley & Valley of Fire dump from back in March when I took a celebratory trip with @ktshffr. 💕

Been all around the world and these two parks remain two of my favorite places on earth! I really never get tired of visiting, and there’s always something new to observe; various distinct zones—from scorching salt flats, bright orange sandstone, to cool, pine-covered mountain forests.

Alas, I will be back for a 3rd time. taken in Nevada by @vanessaivaladez
