If you asked me a year ago if I thought this day would ever come I’d say no.. I’m going to eventually share our journey in depth because ever since speaking about our struggles to strangers, so many people have opened up about theirs. And if you know Sean or I, you probably have heard some of our story. 7 years of trying to conceive since we tied the knot in 2019.. multiple surgeries.. testing.. failed IUI’s and #IVF.. #endometriosis diagnosis.. and somehow, after all of it, we were blessed with a natural pregnancy that completely surprised us both. It felt nothing short of a gift from God.

I remember blaming my career, crazy hours in this field.. it was so much guilt and shame. And to say it didn’t take a toll of my mental and physical health, and our relationship would be a lie.

To those facing the same struggles, I see you and although it’s so cliche.. keep the faith.. God has a plan. I truly believe it.

My gratitude for this past weekend celebration doesn’t scratch the surface of how blessed we feel. This little one is already so loved beyond measure and I continue to pray for a safe delivery and baby.

I feel like we were babies when we first met and now we’re about to have one of our own! Happy Birthday to the man who stole my heart 14 years ago. I don’t know what life would’ve had in store otherwise and I’m okay with never knowing. Love you in depths I will never be able to put in words. Just knowing you and being in your presence is a blessing. You are truly one of the best humans I know. My cinco de Mayo bebita.
