“The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.” — Gloria Steinem

To live a life where your name is attached to an ethos…an ideology…is a life well lived. Whether any woman claims to be a feminist or not, the idea that we are whole…that our dreams, our mess, our bodies, how we love, our joy, our pain, our rage, our LIVES belong to us…is synonymous with this beautiful human.

She found that elixir of purpose…

Your life in a word? TRANSCENDENT.

We will speak your name…always.

Rest well, sister. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ by @vanessasan1224

E. Jean Carroll was FINALLY paid over $5 million by Trump - 3 years after the jury found him guilty of sexual abuse and defamation.

It’s good to see Trump be held accountable for once. by @vanessasan1224

His name was Joan Sebastián Guerrero. He was executed by ICE in Biddeford, Maine. He was driving to work. His three year-old was in the car and saw 5 bullets pumped into her father. They dragged his dead body out of the car and handcuffed him. Yes. They handcuffed a dead man, his face covered in blood. In front of his baby. ICE had the wrong target. Again. by @vanessasan1224

Via ellaequeue “Hear me out. It is a luxury to reach old age and pass away after a long life. Whether it be a life cut short by vio.lence or lack of proper healthcare or any other reason to grow old in this world is something we don’t appreciate enough.

My dad was went on a mission when I was 3 months old. I could have grown up without a father. Instead I got 34 years with him.

We deserve better. Our children deserve a future and our elders deserve a time when they can enjoy the moments after a long a life lived.” by @vanessasan1224

Are we gonna get that though? Are we actually gonna get a full transparent investigation because I don’t have a good feeling about that. I mean, I read that they were trying to deport the witnesses who saw this happen.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen first hand, a time when this country was struggling more and faltering so badly.

@cdmenefee_ Lorenzo Salgado Araujo should be alive today, surrounded by the people who love him. His family - and the public - deserve the truth.

We need a full and transparent investigation into yet another deadly shooting by ICE and we won’t settle for anything less. by @vanessasan1224
