✨Feeling honoured and excited to be one of the five directors from all over Canada invited for the Directors’ Lab at the Norman Jewison Film Program at the Canadian Film Centre!

This first week was truly a blast. I am so lucky to be surrounded by the amazing creative cohort of writers, editors and producers, and the amazing CFC staff.

It is going to be 6 months of hard work, but I couldn't be happier. I’ll be developing my feature film project, creating a short from beginning to end, learning from incredible mentors and industry professionals, and building community.

Thanks to @cfccreates and all the sponsors for believing in the future of Canadian filmmaking.

I am extremely honored to receive the “Best of Showcase” and “Audience Choice” award for my film “THE PLEASURE IS ALL MINE” at this year's WIFT - Women in Film and TV - Showcase!! It was an absolutely magical evening.✨️

Film is the most collaborative form of art I know and the director is just one piece of the puzzle.
I want to thank the incredible crew who made this film possible. Your hard work, talent and vision brought soul and body to an idea, and I will always be grateful to you all for that. (Credits in the comments)

I wish I could talk to my younger self and let her know that we would be here today. That she made the right decision by entering film school 15 years ago, even though she knew nothing about filmmaking and had nothing except her passion for art. That she made the right move three years ago when she decided to leave Brazil and everything she knew to try a new life in Canada. I wish I could tell her that the process would take longer than she thought, that it would require a lot (a lot!) of patience and resilience, but that her art would be seen and would touch people despite language and cultural barriers.I know there is still a long journey ahead with many challenges, but I am extremely grateful for the privilege of making art as a way of living.

Congratulations to all the talented women and non-binary people who shared your films in the showcase. I laughed, I cried and I felt extremely touched by your art.

Thank you immensely to @wift.toronto , an incredible organization which opened doors to me when I didn’t know where to start. Thank you @grande_camera @company_3 @mongrelmedia for the incredible prizes. This is rocket fuel for my upcoming projects! ✨️🎉

✨ S.A.D. has been selected for the 25th LALIFF - Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (@laliff_ ).

Knowing that our international premiere will take place at an Academy Award qualifying festival that champions Latino voices means the world to us.

We screen on Sunday, May 31st at 1:45 PM at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in L.A. Ticket info is available at the link in our bio.

Ao fazer essa pergunta a mulheres, a repórter @lelle.barros percebeu que o prazer feminino não está ligado apenas ao sexo, mas também ao autoconhecimento, à liberdade e à autonomia sobre o próprio corpo.
