14 years. 😮 ​At 19, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I was just a college kid switching majors, studying from the passenger seat of a truck 🛻 on the road feeling pretty lost. ​Years later, sitting in my office at a TV station craving being back in the field, a superior tried to chain me to a desk, telling me I wasn't "pretty enough" 🤦‍♀️to be a TV journalist—ignoring my years of hard-hitting, albeit sometime anti-establishment 👀🤣 journalism, and relocating across 38 states to cover real stories. ​Out of pure defiance (and a whole lot of "F*** You" energy-which I tend to use a lot in new projects 🤣☠️), that spark became @rym_network [now with @audiofuturamusic & both under HGD] ​What started as me driving up and down the southwest as an MMJ slow-burned into everything we do today: 19+ global bureaus, a 360 music and media ecosystem, and actively training the next generation of media leaders. ​I used to reflect on my years of storytelling around this time every year, but that’s just not what I do anymore. [Honestly, that’s been a hard pill to swallow because I never imagined I’d end up here.] I went from storyteller to job creator 🤯 ​And it still feels brand new every day. I constantly make mistakes , and the failures continue to grow right alongside the wins. The funny part is that people turn to me for answers, but the truth is I’m learning right along with them.🤔 ​From a lost 19-year-old on some random backroad to reaching over 2 million readers & viewers worldwide every month, producing real experiences where people feel seen & heard, and managing teams across different time zones (which I still get confused by 🤣😶‍🌫️)—I just want to say thank you. ​Thank you to everyone who’s ever read, watched, built, or been a part of this journey alongside us. 📖🖥🎧🎙 ​Have you grabbed a copy of our latest issue yet?📕 If not, I’d love to send you one! #grammys Been a minute since I've opened up so here we go. Post GRAMMYs 2026 the first time the company gets accepted to be on the media list. 🤗🙌🏼 [Cue my Screaming] When I first got the news I cried. I cried a lot 😭😅 It was proof that we were finally doing it right. Shutting myself off, and focusing on what we needed to do to truly build. I always wanted to be taken seriously at this level but I didn't imagine it could be like this. (I always thought I would be reporting not overseeing the whole thing!) From a single camera and my mustang renting my hermana's @3i6uv_ spare room to the FKN GRAMMYs like what?!?! I kept having to stop thinking is this sh** real?! 🥹🥹 The end of the night I'm meticulously checking and re-checking everyone's hard work before signing off and going home [couldn't handle my shoes at this point 🤣]. It still doesn't feel real my own creation was a part of covering music history... holy crap! 🙌🏼🤗👀✨️🤩 check out some of our team's coverage available now!
