My sweet, beautiful, baby! Today is the day we get to celebrate all of the wonder that is you! Because of you, I live a life that is never lacking in laughter, love, and kindness.

I really don’t know how I was lucky enough that the universe brought us together, but I will always be thankful. Being able to lay witness to your life is the greatest gift I’ve ever received. Your resilience, passion, love for the world, and never ending faith in the girl of the world is awe inspiring. There is no mountain you cannot move.

And I pray for the people who try to get in your way! I pray this new year of life brings you nothing but happiness, beauty, and everything good. Thanks for being my person. thank you for teaching me how to breathe.

The Denton bomb squad removed a pipe bomb that was found near Lake Lewisville earlier this week. It turns out, people are using them to illegally fish.

Lewisville police said a man called 911 on Monday after finding a suspicious device near Lake Park.

Denton’s bomb squad responded and confirmed it was a pipe bomb.

Lewisville police said that while this is the first time they’ve come across something like this, the Denton bomb squad has seen a growing trend of people using these kinds of devices to fish.

The explosion kills fish and then people can easily scoop them up.

Police said the bomb was successfully destroyed, and the lake has since reopened. However, they still don’t know who put it there. taken in Lake Lewisville by @vaniamedia

A Tarrant County judge found Christantus Omondi not guilty by reason of insanity for the January 2024 firewood beating death of delivery driver Scotty Jackson.

Both the defense and prosecution accepted a mental evaluation report declaring Omondi was legally insane during the attack; he will now be transferred to a state hospital.

Omondi, who was naked at the time of the murder, reportedly attacked Jackson and a homeowner before attempting to assault another tenant at a nearby Airbnb. by @vaniamedia
