It’s been a long, painful chapter.

I waited. I hoped. I forgave. I stayed longer than I probably should have because I believed love, patience, and understanding could fix what was already broken.

I’ve endured things I never imagined I’d have to go through, things I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I spent years putting everyone else’s feelings before my own, forgetting that mine mattered too.

But not anymore.

I’m no longer letting anyone else decide the direction of my life. I’m choosing peace over chaos, growth over fear, and myself without guilt.

I don’t feel the need to prove myself or defend my character. The people who truly know me already know my heart. Time has a way of revealing the truth, and karma has a way of finding everyone.

I’ve let go of anger because carrying it only weighs me down. I don’t need revenge. I don’t need to explain every detail.

I gave it my all. But I guess we don’t always get the ending we prayed for. Sometimes, we get the one that finally sets us free. 🤍 by @vanishaa_96
