गोष्ट एका पैठणीची!! राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेता चित्रपट!!
A touching, heartwarming film with very simple, modest family of a young couple Indrayani-Sujeet (played superbly by Sayali Sanjeev❤️ & Suvrat Joshi...the ease, the poise ..is not as easy as it appears!!) with a really sweet (unlike a typical filmy) kid Shridhar (Aarav shetye)... at helm.their simple world full of small joys and hiccups is shaken..... by a small accident involving an intricately handwoven saree...the maharashtrian culture pride ..aka 'paithani'. Their only wealth....of values...their honesty, integrity, self-respect is suddenly at stake....and the brave couple decides...not to compromise it...come what may!!the unwavering spirit is put to test....by unexpected turn of events...but the family members...do not give up!!Being good, being true to oneself is so important in life!! Inspite of several divides/barriers of status,beliefs, etc.,...we can achieve a win-win situation...the writer -director, captain of the ship (Shantanu rode) ...wants the viewers to believe and we do!! here's the film that has it's heart in right place!! the warmth, the sheer simplicity tugs on the heart strings!!What a sweet, lovely film team @paithanithefilm !! Thank you!!🙏🙏❤️❤️

Mann Fakiraa....... woo..ho...ohhh....woo..ohhhh.... Here’s a refreshing, lovely movie about real people, surroundings. The plot is quite amusing, intriguing and the situation that the newly weds Riya-Bhushan land into….may be true for many of us!! The two have their own past.....they think….they have moved on/got over!! There is a dialogue….the truth… you are responsible for your own happiness!! This though seems to be difficult, as it is in real world!! the odd couple, Riya-Bhushan decide to take the risk and go find their own happiness and love of life….in London!! The story moves well with the four lead characters showing their colours….. Mahi (remarkable Anjali Patil) is fiercely independent somewhat eccentric woman, having negative view about the institution of marriage. Nachiket (hot and suave Ankit Mohan) is a self-made, opportunist man who always keeps options!! Bhushan (perfect fit, Suvrat Joshi)is a tad confused but an honest man who cannot cut his family ties and Riya(beautiful and Outstanding Sayali Sanjeev)……I found her, the strongest but vulnerable, clear, honest woman…. As Bhushan's mother, played effortlessly by Renuka daftardar….says…she is a good girl… to the core!! From the trailer and the lovely, apt songs….one gets fair idea about the climax!! But as always in a movie/play…the treatment matters the most!! First time writer-director, famous actor Mrunamayee Deshpande nails it!! The subject, the treatment are relatable, simple and refreshing!! In all, it’s a must watch!! Take a bow, team Mann Fakiraa!! Hope we get to watch more from Mrunamayee and team!! 👏👏👌👌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #mannfakiraa #mannfakiraareview
