I packed a corset before I packed pepper spray. In my defence, I have never once been attacked by a poorly-fitted dress.

The full diagnosis: I have become exactly the type of woman who travels with a corset. Sixteen hours of breathing room sacrificed for a silhouette I can only achieve by lying down to lace up. And I did it voluntarily. Twice.

So — corsets or pepper sprays? Settle it for me. What’s actually in your bag? 🕯️
