C&G eloped at Golden Ears: a forest ceremony under the trees, then Alouette Lake and the peaks to themselves as the light dropped.

This is the case for eloping in BC. The whole province is your venue, and you get a kind of quiet a big guest list never leaves room for.

The venue sets the scene. The ceremony is still the story.

Hycroft Manor gave Sophia and Alexander columns, a floral arch and a mountain in the gap, then the spring gardens and the conservatory for portraits. Beautiful, every frame of it. The part they will replay is still the four minutes of vows in the middle, when they said it out loud.

Luanna and Tyrell were married at VanDusen Botanical Garden, under a willow, beside the lily pond, with the fountain going the whole way through the vows. James officiated.

She read her vows out of a booklet and did not rush a single line of it. That is the part people remember, not the seating chart.
