Sometimes the best part of travelling isn’t the itinerary.
It’s finding one quiet moment where your brain finally slows down long enough for you to catch up with you. by @varunduggi

Hard things aren’t scary.
Quitting is.

The older you get, the clearer it becomes..
strength isn’t about being fearless.
It’s about refusing to stop.

Festive footwear doesn’t always have to mean traditional. And clearly, I’ve taken that thought a little too seriously. 😅

My Diwali footwear rotation this year:

1. Adidas Originals x vegNonVeg Samba Mule Jutti
2. Dmodot Pelle Bourgogno
3. Nauvab Jutti
4. Comet Aeres Hukum
5. Belgian Loafers from Zufr

From juttis to sneakers to loafers, I love how much room there is to play with festive dressing now.

Which pair would you pick?

#Ad Being an adult means dealing with expenses you never saw coming. Thankfully, managing your money can be a little simpler with Airtel Finance.

Pay. Borrow. Bank. All from the Finance tab on the Airtel app, a name we’ve trusted for years.

5 international microbrand watches I keep coming back to. Because apparently having enough watches isn’t a concept I’ve fully understood yet.

⌚ Seagull 1963 Icon II Blue Steel — From the independent Seagull1963.com, not to be confused with Tianjin Sea-Gull. That blue dial though.

⌚ Brew Metric — Coffee-inspired design. Loved it enough to get my wife the all-gold version too.

⌚ Unimatic Heritage — Chunky, industrial Italian design that somehow makes simplicity look so good.

⌚ Baltic Aquascaphe — French vintage charm done right. Their salmon-dial MR01 is another favourite.

⌚ Echo/Neutra Rivanera — Rectangular, titanium, and ridiculously good-looking from both sides.

Which one’s your favourite?

@replyallday clearly understands that some of us carry our entire personality in our pockets. 😅

Wallet. Pixel Buds. Something from my startup. And apparently, a growing archive of tiny things I refuse to throw away because they remind me of a trip.

Good thing the All In Pants have room for all of it. #ad by @varunduggi

#Facevalue Ep 1: Buying a moisturiser as a grown man shouldn’t require a degree in chemistry. But here we are.

Welcome to Face Value, where I’m figuring out skincare one confusing purchase at a time.

Here’s my simple guide to picking a moisturiser.

1. Figure out your skin type.

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, pat dry and wait about 30 minutes without applying anything.

* Dry: Skin feels tight, rough or flaky.
* Oily: Skin looks shiny or feels greasy across most of your face.
* Combination: Oily around your forehead, nose and chin (T-zone), but normal or dry on your cheeks.
* Normal: Skin feels comfortable, without excessive oiliness or dryness.

It’s a rough starting point, not a definitive skin test.

2. Pick the right texture.

* Gel: Lightweight, often comfortable for oily skin.
* Lotion: A middle ground that works for many skin types.
* Cream: Richer, often better suited to dry skin.

3. Choose what fits your needs and routine.

Don’t just buy something because it has a long list of fancy ingredients.

For example, I use a moisturiser with SPF because combining two steps makes my mornings easier. Just make sure you’re using enough for proper sun protection, ideally broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, and reapplying when needed.

The point isn’t to build the most complicated skincare routine.

It’s to find one you’ll actually stick to.
Mine is the @clinique_in moisturising lotion with SPF 50

Because the best moisturiser isn’t necessarily the most expensive one. It’s the one that works for your skin and that you’ll actually use.

Green Flags for Grown-Ups, Ep. 01: The Curious Enabler.

There’s something wonderful about people who know a lot but never make you feel bad about knowing very little.

The ones who get excited to share what they know, rather than show off how much they know.

We need more of these men around us. And maybe we should all try being one too.

What’s another underrated green flag you’ve noticed in someone?

Current obsessions, featuring a few Paris pickups, an old watch with a new bracelet, a pair of shoes I’ve wanted since 1999, and the slow acceptance that reading glasses are now part of my aesthetic.

Also, apparently I’m at the stage of life where a beautifully made backpack and a ridiculous beer bell bring me equal amounts of joy.
