World Champion 🌈 🌍

This one goes out to everyone in my corner. The real ones who know what happens behind the scenes and stick by my side through thick and thin. If this year has taught me anything, is who those people are and if everything looks perfect on the outside it’s because they make that possible. You know who you are ❤️

So happy to see @lixsanyee back on the podium and congrats to @matt_hauser on an incredible season.

Together we conquer! 5th place in my very first Olympic Games. A moment made even more special by crossing the line together with @ricfbat and bringing home 2 olympic diplomas. All I can say is that there were definitely some tears shed today🥹

Thank you to all of you who have been a part of this journey and to everyone who came out to cheer. So grateful!

CAMPEÃO DO 🌍 vs MORCÃO! 😂

Estou a brincar…

Prometo que vou dar tudo. by @vascovilaca

LIVE 😎 LAUGH 😅 LOVE ❤️

The cheers, the people, the hugs, the emotions. In the end, those are the memories that make a world title such a meaningful moment.

About a year ago, as the 2025 championship came to an end, I felt tired and exhausted. I had become so focused on every race and every result that, somewhere along the way, the joy of what I was doing had slowly started to fade.
When saying goodbye to the team in Australia, in the middle of all the congratulations and “good jobs”, a good friend stopped me with a pretty honest observation: somehow, the one achieving the most seemed to be the one enjoying it the least. Dream big, but don’t let the next big goal overshadow what you’re living and achieving right now.
It was a short conversation, but one that stayed with me and made me reflect on how I wanted to approach the next World Championship. So in 2026, while I was fully focused on chasing the title, I also made a conscious effort to enjoy everything around it. The people, the places and all the little moments we get to share along the way. More game nights. More dinners out. More calls with the family. More dad jokes that I’m not sure anyone actually wants to hear. 😅
Funny enough, not only did that make me enjoy my job a whole lot more… it also made me perform a whole lot better.

Sometimes it takes the ones who truly care to remind you what really matters. Growing day by day @migueltiagosilva ❤️ by @vascovilaca
