Cousin, looking back at these clips, I remember more than where I went. I remember the nerves before walking in, the decision to get out of the house, and the little chances I gave myself. 🤎

I’m still working on my mental health and learning to choose myself. Seeing these moments together reminds me that there’s been progress along the way even when I couldn’t see it day to day.

@joyesthetics_ beat my face to the goddesses, cousin! 💋✨ I’m admiring the makeup before I wash it off and call it a night. The under-eye creasing and watery eyes are giving “long day,” but the beat is still beating. 😂

Foundation shopping will humble you quickly. 😂

An online shade finder can point you in the right direction, but your skin, the undertone and the way the foundation dries still have the final say.

@fentybeauty recommended Fluid Flex 406N based on my original Pro Filt’r shade, 335 but once I swatched it, I knew we needed another plan.

The final contenders were 376N and 386W. I blended both, allowed them to settle and even brought in a Sephora associate for the tiebreaker.

Comment “MATCH” if you think 386W was the right choice! Then follow for the full-face wear test. 👀

Cousin, how many experiences have we postponed because we didn’t have anyone to go with us?

For Vlogtober Day 5, I’m sharing what happened when this naturally shy busy baddie got cute and attended the @hercorporatemuse Mix & Mingle in Atlanta alone. 🍒

I networked, started new conversations and left feeling motivated to keep developing my content, travel more and make room for bigger goals. My permanent bracelet from @koah.jewels was the cutest reminder of the night. ✨

Overcoming shyness in social situations doesn’t require becoming the loudest woman in the room. Start with one hello, stay present and allow yourself to experience something new.

For a long time, being “the dependable one” felt like a compliment.

I could work three jobs, help solve everybody else’s problems, show up during their hardest moments, and somehow convince myself that my own feelings could wait.

Until they couldn’t.

Choosing myself felt uncomfortable at first because I had confused self-sacrifice with love. But setting boundaries, beginning therapy, taking myself out, trying new activities, and even resting at home with Venni have taught me something important: loving other people should never require abandoning yourself.

I’m still learning who I am outside of what everybody needs from me—and I think that version of me deserves to be known. 💕

Sometimes getting back to feeling like myself starts with something small a familiar fragrance, a little lip gloss, a conversation with my cousins. 🤎

I’m still under the weather, so today’s beautiful moment was standing in my beauty area, wearing pajamas and a fall coat, talking about perfumes that make me feel confident and feminine. Very questionable outfit. Very clear fragrance opinions. 😂

That’s something I’m enjoying about Vlogtober: making room for more of my personality and the little things I love.
