Yesterday was the birthday of a very important person in my life, my husband Andy 🎉

The first time I saw his photo I remember thinking, wait… programmers can look like that? 😻
Honestly, 5 years ago I first fell for him because he was a very cute 3D developer. But luckily it turned out there is so much more behind that. Kindness, depth, curiosity. And somehow he still happily lives with me after five years, which honestly deserves a separate award.

Andy is one of the most caring and supportive people I know. Sometimes he can be a bit of a nerd about things, but to be fair I am exactly the same. Sometimes I even wish he would tell me more often when I am wrong. But that responsibility has clearly been delegated to my dear friends… who also prefer to stay supportive. 😆

Instead he shows me by example how someone can support you even when you spill an entire bowl of soup on the couch. And I will never forget how much you took care of me during pregnancy and after the birth. That kind of support means everything. He would also give me the last tasty treat without hesitation. Before Andy the only person capable of such sacrifice was my mom.

I wish you success in your career and in all the passions and projects you get excited about. I will always be nearby with advice, a cup of tea, and sometimes a friendly motivational push. 🙃

Most importantly stay healthy, my dear husband. Please eat a little fewer simple carbs so you can stay with me and Eliana for many many years.

My biggest takeaway of 2025 is our long-awaited baby girl🐣

It’s been three months since Eliana came into our lives, and we are completely in love with her. 💕

So much has already changed. We’ve made so many little adjustments: both at home and in our lives to make everything more comfortable for her… and there’s still so much ahead for her, and for us too 😅

She’s growing so fast, and everything changes almost every day. Sometimes it feels scary and not easy at all. There are moments when you feel helpless, not knowing how to make things easier for her in those newborn-life struggles. But then you see her smile, and all the exhaustion instantly fades away. And you’d do absolutely anything just to see that smile again ☺️ by @vasile0k

Если вы думаете, что в доме нужно сделать ремонт в Люксембурге или рядом. Или например, как мы, захотели поставить ванну перед родами, чтобы облегчить схватки 😅 то рекомендую обратиться к Михаилу. Michail Labzin не первый раз выручает нас с ремонтом. Ранее утеплял мне чердак. И также, помог нам перенести душ и сделать наш подвал намного симпатичнее с новой плиткой.
В будущем думаем обратиться к нему за сауной в дом, которые он тоже уже делал. Как обычные, так и хамам.

Just recently, our little miracle came into the world — our baby girl, Eliana 🌸

We’re still getting to know each other, learning everything from scratch, and adjusting our lives to her tiny schedule, but we already love her endlessly and want to do everything the best way possible for her health and happiness.

The birth and the week in the maternity ward were far from easy — we’ve been through a lot in these past couple of weeks with @andy_sushket. I’m endlessly grateful to my husband for going through all the pain and emotions with me. I can’t imagine what I’d do without his support. ❤️ And a huge thank you to my mom for being by our side and helping us through these first weeks of parenthood.

New year of my life.
A big and meaningful project is about to be released. 😊

So many transformations and significant changes are on the way.
I’ve just started a new job with an exciting role, and soon, I’ll be stepping into the life of a mother.

A new me.
Curious, excited, and honestly — a bit scared.

Thanks to my family, friends, and new workplace, I’ve felt truly supported through it all.

I’m honored to receive the Microsoft Professional Award for Web Development and Developer Security. This recognition reflects years of hard work, exploration, and growth.

In recent years, I’ve found myself increasingly drawn to the challenges of security in development. This focus has inspired me to dive deeper into topics like the WebAuthn standard and biometric authentication in web applications, which have become central themes in my talks.

Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of participating in podcasts where I’ve discussed development and security—topics I’m passionate about and believe are critical to shaping the future of technology.

Comic con Brussels 2024 😍

We had the incredible opportunity today to meet the actors who brought Frodo, Sam and Gollum to life on the big screen. Getting to meet such cool actors in person at Comic Con Brussels was absolutely awesome!

Nine years ago marked the beginning of my journey as a speaker. It was a nerve-wracking yet exhilarating experience that changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined.

Thanks to my work at Artec3D, choosing topics was surprisingly easy. From a young age, I was captivated by games and dreamed of becoming a game developer. I studied C++ at university, matrices, and vectors. 3D truly fascinated me. Yet, even with my background, diving into WebGL on its own was daunting. That’s where Three.js came in.

Leading up to my first talk, I spent about a month prepping and had three run-throughs to get it right. I feared tricky questions. But when I finally took the stage, something magical happened. The nerves faded, replaced by this rush of purpose and excitement. Soon, I received invitations to speak at conferences and found myself standing in front of classrooms, sharing my knowledge.

Big thanks to the organizers of the #JSConfJapan 🇯🇵 for choosing my talk! The trip to Japan was unforgettable. 😌 The atmosphere was electric, the conversations inspiring, and I met incredible, passionate people. But no one knows how happy I was when I finally met the creator of Three.js, Ricardo Cabello, in person! Meeting Ricardo was like meeting a hero. His creation had opened doors for me, allowing me to delve into the enchanting world of 3D like never before. With Three.js, developers could breathe life into their projects, creating genuinely mind-blowing experiences. Thanks to @mrdoob_ and his creation, the web became more vibrant and immersive.

As I stood there, face to face with the man behind #Three.js, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunities his work had afforded me, gratitude for the community that had embraced me, and gratitude for the journey that had brought me to this moment. It was a journey of growth, discovery, and inspiration—one that continues to shape me to this day.

And to those embarking on their journey, I say this: embrace the fear, seize the opportunities, and never stop chasing your dreams. You never know where they might lead you or who you might meet. 🗻

Last year was hot, I have visited more than 20 meetups and conferences. One of the warmest and most welcomed was the DevRelCon. There were around 200 people and 2 talk streams. I met there so many empathic people! 🤗

This conference is not one that I have visited before, with code strings and best coding practices, but it is about the best practices to communicate with people, with people you care about, either your colleagues, either users, investors, or developers who use your tools. Developer Relations is such a vast topic, it is connected to a bunch of areas and teams, that you need to think about. Do not be scared of the unknown and uncertain, try, research, and learn from the best. And you can certainly find the experts at this conference.

This year, the conference will be in New York City 🗽. It is organized by professional Devrelles. Unfortunately, I can’t visit the conference this year, but if you have the opportunity, DevRelCon is definitely worth visiting. 🤌🏽
