The first WAXCHICK bus stop. Question is will anarchic ‘subvertising’ disrupt and eventually remove the complacency of the outdoor ad brands? #brandalism #subvertising #takeover #artforbillboards @dogsectionpress @flyingleaps2016 featured in the @theneweuropean latest issue @jordanseiler taken in Shoreditch High Street by @vasilisaworld

We had a great time hosting the third edition of Forge; an artists moving image and storytelling event - this time at the @margateartsclub

It’s a great opportunity to gather and showcase experimental work that encourages new ideas and more vibrant and magical communication, and community interaction. The internet sphere upsets me (especially social media) every time I access it with the spread of misinformation the danger of the political right and all the raging frustrations that come with that and so having a place to talk about films and weird ideas is a real beacon of light.

This round the contributor to the magic circle theme were:
Natasha Cantwell @natasha.cantwell
Charlie Evaristo-Boyce @charlieevaristoboyce
Vasilisa Forbes @vasilisaworld
Nadin Hadi @nadin.hadi
Mani Kambo @manikambo

Beware the ever changing face of the scapegoat through history; no longer the local village woman but now a new ‘threat’, perhaps the ‘non-local worker/migrant’ or the new ‘othered’ of our societies. Beware the way the scapegoat is created. Beware the voice that speaks in violence, and how history shows us what has and could/is being sown once more. ♦️

I’m making a feature on no budget. With some great creatives. It’s about some of my favourite things: cats, mysticism, witches, women, political theory and altered states of consciousness. It’s fluid, evolving and with a skeleton crew, a doc almost. Let’s see how it transpires.. taken in Margate Kent UK by @vasilisaworld
