VOGELPOP FESTIVAL 2026

This week I’m back to the Netherlands for VogelPop 2026! I’m packing some funky sounds and heaps of bass to play at the Dance Stage, on Friday the 17th of July.

So grateful to be joining such a unique & special festival along with so many talented artists. Can’t wait to party with my Netherlands folks <3

Meet the crew…

@vasukired is a Galway based, Leitrim raised DJ/Producer.

Only a little over a year in the scene, and she has already made huge waves in the Galway Scene. She also played her first international headline set at Pigeon Fest earlier this year.

Vasuki Red is very passionate about brining the community together, and finds this to be the most important factor of her music career. “I find music is one of the best ways to bring people together, and unite as one. Music is a universal language we all understand. Regardless of background, beliefs, or identity. When we’re all on the dance floor, moving to the same beat, those differences dissapear. That moment of connection is what I do it all for.” Through her sets, Vasuki Red aims to create a safe, inclusive, and energetic space where people can lose themselves in the music and find each other in the process.

Regardless of the male dominated field, she is passionate to inspire, encourage and support more female/queer/FLINTA artists and DJs to the scene.

She is apart of many different collectives in Galway and has recently started her very own series “Red.Line”. It is aimed towards those in need with every event supporting a different charity.

With a passion for music from a young age.
Experimenting in all sorts of genres, from indie rock, folk and rock. She was always a fan of techno and electronic music, but it wasn’t until she moved to Galway, that her passion was reignited.
Never sticking to one genre,
No set is ever the same,
She mixes Bass, Breakbeat, UKG, DnB and Groove to create one unified sound.

As she grows as an artist, Vasuki Red is getting more into music production, working on original tracks that blend her wide range of influences. With some releases on the way, she’s been experimenting with sound design which she hopes to bring to her sets very soon.

Things are only starting for Vasuki Red, with countless shows ahead of her, new music on the horizon, and a growing community behind her.

thank you so so much electric picnic family, thank you to everyone who came and showed so much loveeeee at each set, truly grateful for the beautiful people around me.

Thank you @glowdepot for having me, was such an energetic set, on such a wicked stage. Shout out to the crew and organisers for creating such a special night.

Massssssiveeee huge mega shoutout to @cultur.riot_queerclubnight for having me back for another set filled with queer power, dance and love.

diversion debut was a massive wicked success, thank you so much to everyone who came, boogied and donated to such an important cause. together raised just over €400!!

shout out to @diversion.audio for bringing their sound and energy to the @roisindubhpub . Was such a pleasure to play along such legends. Special shout out to @pinks.uk for such a fun B2B, bringing some much needed hardcore jungle to the roisin.

GALWAY RECAP 🇮🇪 🇮🇪

We’ve been a bit quiet on here the last couple of weeks while we’ve been working behind the scenes on a few other projects. So, it's now time for a belated recap of our Irish debut!

Sending a massive thank you to everyone who came down to @roisindubhpub and donated - together, we raised over €400 for @catu_ireland to help fight for tenants’ rights and support those facing the housing crisis. We're glad we could help the community ✊

We had such a good time crossing the water. Everyone we met, danced with, and connected with in Galway was sound! We will most certainly be back.

This Wednesday we make our Irish debut! Taking over the @roisindubhpub for a proper night of Drums & Bass, Jungle and Breaks and more. We are gassed to be crossing the water for this one, especially because we’re raising money for a vital cause.

We are unbelievably hyped to announce our Irish debut at the legendary Róisín Dubh in Galway on Wednesday, 8th of July!

With strong collective ties to Galway, it’s always been a dream to bring the Diversion sound over the Irish Sea - and we’re doing it for an incredible cause!

great cause with some heavy hitting bangers guaranteed, donate at the door.

then on May 2nd i’ll be spinning some chill tunes outside @dewdropgalway with @upthecraic ,so come grab a pint and dance with us in the sunshine!

finally I’ll be playing for @tabu_now_cultur.riot at @electricgalway for an epic DJ battle with @_charlois_ followed by a super funky bass set. As part of @galway_theatre_festival . Going to be off the walls, grab your ticket before it’s gone!
