When the 1%,the people willing to sacrifice, obsess, endure discomfort, and push themselves beyond what most people consider reasonable, start getting called “insecure” by people who have never tested their own limits, understand what you’re watching:

It’s often easier to discredit someone’s drive than confront the difference in discipline, execution, and results.

Be careful with people who constantly gaslight achievement while refusing to look in the mirror, or at the scoreboard.

Life is competitive.

You can say, “I only compete with myself,” and there’s truth in that. But competition with yourself still requires a foundation: standards, measurable progress, discipline, and results. Otherwise, it’s just a comfortable narrative you created to avoid accountability.

Sometimes the answer really is simple: stop talking, work harder, raise your standards, and quit making excuses.

Don’t see a beast athlete and immediately scream, “Steroids.”

Don’t see someone successful and automatically assume, “Drug dealer,” “scammer,” or “They got lucky.”

Don’t see someone extremely fit, confident, or obsessed with improvement and immediately label them “narcissistic” or “insecure.”

Ask yourself this:

When was the last time someone genuinely outperforming you spent their day trying to tear you down?

Most people operating at a high level barely notice the noise. They’re too busy building, training, executing, failing, adjusting, and winning.

Stop creating explanations for why somebody else’s results don’t count.

Look in the mirror. Look at the scoreboard.

Through the thick and thin , from my late night lectures and sometimes harsh arguments and raw unfiltered truth because that’s what real Men do , we try to make each other better pushing through the limits in every aspect of life , physically and mentally. Real friends are rare , loyalty is rare . Met this “kid “ the very first day he moved to Orange County at Equinox about 9 years ago when he approached and said “ hey can you give me a spot “ on his favorite thing in the world which is bench pressing haha . I literally witnessed his tremendous growth in his business ventures and his work ethic is second to none ,the guy is a work horse .
