It’s been a journey learning soldering/LEDs. I’m happy how this one turned out - a portal for the Autumn Equinox altar at @fahrenheitflowarts The biggest challenge was making it waterproof and able to break down into small pieces for transport. Good news - it survived the rain. Already have some ideas for V2. Thank you @tmlanning and @tippy.ki.yay for the photos 💛 by @vava_virvelvind

@fahrenheitflowarts was absolutely everything. It’s so powerful to see what this community is capable of. It was a weekend full of seeing old friends and new work together, support one another, and throw down on the decks, performance stage and fire circle. I have so much love for y’all 💛💛 As usual I barely got any photos /videos but thanks to @notjustaprettybase I got this video from one of my favorite moments: @pja.shenanigans and I’s acro chair duo in the fire circle 🔥🔥 by @vava_virvelvind

Get Chairenhyped for @fahrenheitflowarts tutorial 3: Hip balance - slide - Titanic. I’ll be teaching more Acro chair dance tricks at the festival: Acro chair dance - Welcome to the hot seat & Acro chair dance 2 Let’s get chairborne. Recommendation: It’s much easier to move around on the chair (and it’s less painful) when your legs are covered so wear leggings, high socks, tights or something to cover your legs to class (I have tights on in this video) . #acrochair #chaerials #acrochairdance #flowarts #chairdance by @vava_virvelvind

I'm excited to be teaching 2 Chaerials (aka Acro chair dance) classes @fahrenheitflowarts this year!

Acro Chair Dance - Welcome to the hot seat:
Welcome to the hot seat! Chaerials is a combination of acro, aerial and dance using a folding chair (on the ground). In this class we’ll learn some beginner poses/transitions and work them into a flow. Together we will transform a metal chair into your chair-iot, so you can deliver all the sass to your audience!

Acro Chair Dance 2 - Let’s get Chairborne:
Hold onto your seats, we’re about to get chairborne! In this class, we’ll start learning some intermediate poses/transitions and start working on inversions. We’ll learn them as part of a flow that you can give your own chair-ismatic flair to!

It’s easier to slide through the movements when your legs are covered. So covering your legs with leggings/socks/tights is recommended but not required.

I’m excited to be teaching two Acro chair/ Chaerials classes at @fahrenheitflowarts this year!

Chaerials (acro chair) is a combination of acro, aerial and chair dance. In my “Acro Chair Dance - welcome to the hot seat” class we’ll learn some beginner poses and weave them into a flow. In “Acro Chair Dance - let’s get chairborne” we’ll cover some intermediate poses and start working on inversions. After both classes you’ll leave with choreography that strings all the poses together.

So to get your Chairenhyped for @fahrenheitflowarts I’ll be doing a few tutorials here leading up to the festival. The first move will be the “Split Flip”. If you get the move, tag me - I’d love to see it!
