i’m learning how to bask in grace within the storm, allowing my self to reach points in my soul and heart to feel the things i need without the pressure of suppression i so often practice, learning that not every ache is meant to be hidden and not every tear is a sign of weakness. i am softening where i once became rigid, listening where i once went silent, and trusting that discomfort can be a doorway instead of a punishment. i am giving myself permission to be present with what rises in me, to honor the waves without drowning in them, and to understand that healing is not always loud or obvious. sometimes it is simply choosing to stay with myself a little longer, choosing compassion over criticism, and remembering that even in chaos, grace still knows how to find me and heaven truly only knows taken in Morgan State University by @vavanation
