My final artfight attacks!
This last week I got pretty burnt out so I couldn’t draw much over the final days, but I still had such a blast over Artfight and am already planning

First and third attacks are characters by @agni.relight
Mab & Darya!
Glad I could finally partake in a revenge chain this year! It was fun but you kept attacking me too fast queen 😭
GIVE ME A CHANCE!!!

Second character is by @sickb0ii_ and their sona! I could not pass up the chance to draw such a cool looking character!!

Lasty, Love and Gab by @rosiyie.art , a revenge for their attack on Venus which I love to bits!

Thank you to everyone who attacked me this year! Planning to get around to any missed revenges from this year, starting next year!

Week 2 & 3 of Artfight!
As we came to a close on week 2 of artfight I realised I only made two attacks, so I decided to wait until the end of this week when I had a couple more lol.

Ivy: By @pratszel on Artfight and Instagram!
Loved drawing Ivy! I took a darker take on this drawing and had a lot of fun with it in the end… after I went through about 5 different sketches 🫪
I think the end result was worth the initial pain! Rim lighting my beloved 💚

Shan: By Fangss_ on Artfight! Also a friend of mine irl! I needed to get this attack done before they got to me first, it was war. And even though I completely messed up Shan’s coat and necklace, I did have permission to use the incorrect version because it still looked alright 😭🙏
Saved me so much time on that, thank you man. Anyway, Shan was a pleasure to draw!

Terra: By Skeletal_Tylosaurus on Artfight and Tiktok!
A SCENE QUEEN?! Yes please. Loved drawing her and just having fun with the rendering and colours. 💙🩷
Overall had fun drawing Terra, and this was a revenge for an attack the artist did for me on Ellis!

Sarin: By @nettys__art (Geggert on Artfight)
Sarin was someone I kept eying in my bookmarks. I decided to pair Sarin and Valerix together, who do not belong to the same artists. Both being dnd characters and circus/jester vibes created a fun aesthetic to work with! Sarin’s trad goth-like makeup was like a reward at the end 🙏

Valerix: @echo.xxo (Magicmannn on Artfight)
Valerix was another character in my bookmarks that I really wanted to draw. It would have been fun to lean into Valerix’s yandere vibes but not this time unfortunately 🫶

Rue: Negative_sleep on artfight and TikTok!
I love a good angel design, and I had a lot of fun setting up Rue’s pose by colouring in the sketch phase before lineart!

Liu: @pipian.popcorn (Pipainpopcorn on Artfight)
Liu was the perfect character to draw to end the night! She’s so cute and I loved doing this revenge for the gorgeous attack they did against my character Sebastian!

First week of Artfight 2026 is complete!
(In order of completion)

My first post I really focused on lighting and setting the scene between characters Kennedy and Kenny by Ka0tic0 on Artfight and TikTok.

Second was a revenge against @nathartniel or Nathobyr on Artfight! He crafted such a beautiful attack of Sabrina and Deiderik I just had to get back right away. This one I went with a cuter vibe with less emphasis on lighting and shadows.

Lastly I just finished my attack against Reminas on Artfight. Their character Hannei was soooo cute I just had to draw her. I changed up the idea during the sketch phase to turn it into a hero magazine seeing as Hannei is an MHA oc!

I plan to get around 20 attacks done this year but if I go over or under at least I made some attacks I’m happy with!
My username is Vaxitas on Artfight if you’re interested in attacking me or getting a revenge <3

Team Mystery speedpaint!

Ny first ever speedpaint! :D
This is my characters Kalvyn and Ellis, being rendered for Artfight’s team Mystery for 2026.
I used a Phantom of the Opera reference seeing as that’s the overall vibes I really wanted from this piece.
Kind of mysterious yet alluring. Also romantic with these two.

I hope to make more speedpaints if they don’t take up too much space on my computer. 🙏

Late Pride Month Post
I had this finished like 2 weeks ago I just never posted it 😔

Anyway here are all my most important book main characters with their pride flags - except Jonathan. The only fully straight goober among them.

A collection of my recent character boards for Artfight!

Gave me a chance to flesh out some of their designs with improved skills and redefined colour palettes 🎨

I’ll be posting my attacks in weekly dumps over July when Artfight begins 🫡
I also plan on doing more personal art again once July is over 🤺

Well, here I am - Vaxitas on Artfight!
(Omfg I’m finally posting about artfight)

I’ve been waiting for this since last year’s artfight ended.
And there should be a couple more posts coming up from me about artfight as we get closer to July!

Hope to find more artfight friends 🫶🤝

This is why all the drawings in my book are done by Kathe 🫶😅

Thought I’d give my own version of this mini art trend of your characters drawing themselves. Definitely got inspired by that one artist who has her main oc draw himself every year as a milestone for her art progress.
This is not supposed to be that but definitely inspired - and I forgot the artists name…

(Can you tell I started giving up on the background)

Scene is composed of my original characters from my progressing manuscript.
I’m really enjoying my sketching style of them at the moment, so just posting new sketches or keeping the sketchy versions with or without lineart.
Felt like this one didn’t need the lineart so I stuck with a cleaned up sketch!!

Some digital sketches from this week!
Still deciding if I should colour the meme one…

Would you guys like more sketches like these are aren’t fully finished or just posting character features? Rather than only posting finished art pieces.

It was really satisfying to realise I have managed to give each of my characters a unique nose in different ways. Seeing them all together really helps show my progress of drawing facial features. 🫶

Also at the time of this post, chapter 9 is finished and needs to go through minor edits before I move onto chapter 10!!
Flying through rn, but chapter 9 feels a bit long for what it is, might try and cut back on it where I can, or leave it for the editing stage.

The file was too big to post from my phone oops-

Anyway got my Rhodie art done from last night, unfortunately my noise layer wouldn't render properly with Instagram's quality so I'm stuck without it 😔

Can Cat actually draw the characters relevant to the first book? No.
This was a lot of fun though, getting into the rendering.

If you compare it to the reference can you tell I like drawing big eyes? 👁👁

I finished it… late, but I did it.

This is my take on the 500 miles art trend, using characters and plot points from across my in-progress book series!

Holy motivation came and went with this one so much, in amongst writing my manuscript 😂😭
I did have time and then I didn’t have time.. BUT it’s done.

I can move onto other animation projects now that this one is finished.

I plan on making and posting a few others that relate a little more to book one. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to complete this trend.

Just wanted to post something this week since I’ve been non stop writing and not drawing. ✍️

This is my informal sketch apology

These were some rough concept face sketches of Christa for The Black Dragon
I might set her up with some digital art this weekend for the fun of it, draw some characters I’ve yet to draw normal art for!

Chapter 6 is almost done!
Just gotta finish off the end and go through for edits. 🫶🤞
