I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to King University!

I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue my academic and volleyball career at the D1/D2 level. What started as a kid with long hair, a headband, and big dreams has turned into a journey I’m incredibly proud of.

Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, friends, rivals, and everyone who inspired me along the way. The road wasn’t always smooth, and trusting the process wasn’t always easy but every challenge shaped who I am today.

GO TORNADOS 🌪️🚨❗️

So I can finally post that jun jun has committed to Indiana tech after being offered during last weeks college camp at their campus.

To say that Ivone and I are beyond proud is an understatement.

Being introduced the game by @coach2107 at @bellshoalsacademy during 6th grade and providing him the fundamentals and lighting the fire that he has for the game. Not enough can be said about giving him the opportunity…thank you.

To @allinvolleyballacademy thank you for having had him as part of your club. To his former teammates and coaches we wish you the best. Each of yall have provided something that helped build him and helped his progression to this point.

His high school season with @slamtampavolleyball was a welcome experience especially this last season making it to the state final and balling out to some great competition. It was just awesome to see the fun in the game. Thanks @coachmiranda1525 and @jordannalleyy looking forward to run it back this next season.

And last but not least @vbcoachteresa and @tampa_united_volleyball THANK YOU. You’ve been able to mold him into a Lib from a setter. You’ve allowed him to grow with you and offer your guidance and expertise to get him where he’s at. You’ve pushed him to the breaking point and squeezed every ounce of ability out of him just so that he knows there’s still a little bit left when you feel your empty. All the private lessons, group lessons, team building, scrimmages and everything in between has only made him that much better as a player and a person. We are looking forward to his last season of club volleyball.

To all his current teammates and former teammates y’all are the MVP’s. As a parent being able to watch your kid grow and build relationships is a surreal experience. 1 minute their in 6 th grade playing their first game with classmates the next they’re on the cusp of graduating and moving away.

Thanks for reading my TED Talk if you made it this far.

It’s ok to walk away with a little chip on your shoulder. We earned this one. But, next one gets tougher, so let’s get back to work!! by @vbcoachteresa

Putting the off-season work into play 🏐 From reps in the gym to reads on the court, I’m working on my serve receive, digging, footwork, platform control, communication, serving, and out-of-system setting.

Our entire team came to play last weekend!! Every player had an impact - blocks, digs, serves, attacks, sets, energy. No matter how big or small the roll - it takes a team.

Even though our record doesn’t show it (2-4) - this was statistically our team’s best tournament yet. The girls played aggressively the entire weekend, I couldn’t be more proud of their resilience and effort. The growth while on this journey with each other has been incredible.

“At the highest level, nobody is WAY better. They’re just slightly better, more often, when it matters most.” That’s right where we want to be. This is why we play in Open. Can’t wait to see what we do at AAU. by @vbcoachteresa
