Sneak peak...comparison.. the matte surface is when polished with 10000grit wet paper.
The glossy is when i started to polish with a single finger, and a migaki powder... that is when magic happens

Sometimes you have a chance to put your hands on rarity..
The cigars are surely pre 2000's, but more likely 80's to mid 90's... dried, but stored in a right way, no molds, no damage..
The Niemeijers shag virginia also intact.. of course the aluminium foil is oxidized since the mid 60's... but as you can see, no molds, even inside no sign of getting wet or mold spots on the paper..

Both is now in a humidor.. and smoke these unikorns once they are ready...

Started to finally sand/ polish some falcon bowls i was working on. The last months of heatwaves was quite suboptimal for curing.. so took longer time .. now it is closer to be done
