I get asked why I always wear black. I’ve never really liked that question - maybe because there isn’t a simple answer. So I wrote one anyway. Something more for my younger self, and for anyone who might recognise the feeling.I don’t think personal style is ever just about clothes. Lost & Found Ria Dunn: The Cycle of Life. @lostandfoundriadunn Words: Anastasiia Spasova @vbmgrSome objects feel instantly familiar, as if you have already known them – not in memory, but across past, present, and possible futures; in associations, in fragments of experience, in traces you cannot fully name. Their value is not intrinsic but exists in the lives they have already lived, or in the lives the designer has lived with them. Some things are not made to be consumed; they are lived, narrated through folds, seams, and textures.I hold a Lost & Found Ria Dunn leather jacket in my hands, examining its surface just before pressing the “accept” button on my Vinted page. Every crease, every mark, every imperfection speaks of a life that preceded me.I have not bought a leather jacket since the moment when rain in Florence destroyed my favorite one, which I had found at a flea market in Italy in 2016. Ten years have passed since then – since I came to terms with the loss, or perhaps found a replacement that finally felt right.I remember that moment as clearly as if it were happening now. I stepped out of a bar after a disappointing date, slowed down, and stopped in the middle of the street to absorb every drop of warm summer rain. The decision to get soaked was made almost unconsciously, without regard for what might be lost.Across the street, a man stepped out of a bar. He glanced at me, took off his striking handmade grey leather boots, and ran barefoot. I don’t think this video can fully capture what this room feels like.Every designer in The Antwerp Six at @momuantwerp was given their own world, but Ann Demeulemeester’s was the one I connected with most. The scenography was developed with Victor Robyn, her son, while the exhibition’s soundscape was carefully designed to shape the experience rather than simply accompany it. It doesn’t feel like a room full of clothes. It feels like stepping inside Ann Demeulemeester’s universe - one that speaks through the poetry of black.If you’re in Antwerp before 17 January 2027, don’t miss it. by @vbmgr

Bianca Nazavora (@partanguel_ ) solo show “παράβασις” curated by Anastasiia Spasova (@vbmgr ) at the @korney_gallery In ancient comedy, parabasis named the moment when the chorus interrupted the action and addressed the audience directly. It was a temporary breach in the theatrical order: a stepping out of role, a collapse of the distance between stage and spectators. In Bianca Nazarova’s work, parabasis appears not as a narrative device, nor as a citation of theatrical history, but as a condition of the image itself. Having passed through multiple transformations, deaths and returns, the image no longer belongs entirely to its own representation. It crosses its own threshold and turns outward, carrying within itself a chorus of other voices, bodies and times.At that moment, the image is no longer simply something to be looked at.
